Copper Mountain is seventy-five miles west of Denver off I -70. It is most noted as a ski resort but also provides warmer month activities such as golf and mountain biking. The mountain is known for having a wide variety of naturally separated terrains. It features a beginner’s area on the western side, an intermediate area in the center and an expert area on the eastern side. Copper Mountain is considered to be a locals skiing mountain. The wait time is shorter with smaller lines.
